• Use semi-gloss or high gloss paint that is easy to keep clean and doesn’t encourage mold is best.
• Sorting laundry baskets or cart helps in keeping color fabrics from bleeding on your whites or lingerie.

• Keep like foods together, pasta, vegetables, baking items, canned goods, etc.
• Utilize multi-functional storage, drawers, and shelving of various sizes and shapes; get creative with items you use.
• Make room for your paper goods, tablecloths, and placemats.
• If space allows, a pantry can be a great place for cookware, plastic tupperware, and appliances; frees up countertop space and keeps the kitchen looking neater.
• Allow for space for your favorite cookbooks and directional or task lighting.
• Add spice rack that is functional and easy to access.
• Chair and/or step stool for the hard to reach items.
• Consider installing electrical outlets for additional workspace.
• Installed motion detection lighting for hands-free access or late night snacking.
• Paint or wallpaper the room a fun and exciting colors.
• Yellow is known to stimulate your appetite, as opposed to pink or blue which has the tendency to suppress your appetite and yellows and oranges are associated with happiness; your brain secretes more serotonin when you see these colors.
